Justin Michael Cornwell began his professional acting career at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater after studying theater at the University of Lousiville. In Chicago he began a successful career on stage and TV. appearing in small parts on popular television shows and films before being cast as a a lead opposite Bill Paxton in his final role in the CBS series Training Day in 2016. He has since had a successful career establishing himself as one of Hollywood's most versatile new stars appearing in the hit Netflix musical Jingle Jangle, the superhero drama The Umbrella Academy, the Peacock series Bel-Air and 2025 will see release of the Netflix's action thriller Havoc alongside Tom Hardy. He is also a writer and producer with the international release of Million Dollar Bet in 2024. In addition to this his music and illustration work continues to be a big part of his artistic versatility.
