Born and raised in the vibrant streets of Langa township in Cape Town, Aphiwe Mkefe is an ambitious and determined 26-year-old. He went to Pinelands high school and studied Theatre, Screen performance, Film writing and Directing at AFDA Film School in Johannesburg. He is known for his role in a hit South African TV series entitled 'Nkululeko' and his notable performance as the lead actor on the award-winning feature film 'Letters of Hope' which won awards at the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA) and the Durban International Film Festival. He is notably one of South Africa's best upcoming Actors with a long and prosperous career ahead of him.
