Shaniaz has built an impressive career in the U.K. and recently appeared as "Emine" in Netflix's hit series Gangs of Oslo. She is set to star in a Sony Pictures Entertainment adaptation of her one-woman show from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Her performance in the critically acclaimed series Missing People, selected for the European Broadcasting Union's Best New Series, earned widespread praise. Shaniaz has also featured in esteemed productions like Harold Pinter's Mountain Language at London's Royal Court Theatre, sharing the stage with Bill Nighy, Douglas Hodge, and Penelope Wilton. Additionally, she appeared in the four-time Oscar-nominated, Palme d'Or-winning film Triangle of Sadness.
