Martie Duncan is an author, chef, event producer and content creator from Birmingham, Alabama. She is best known for her appearances on season 8 of Food Network Star and Guy's Grocery Games on Food Network. Martie is the host of a podcast for Meredith Corporation's Allrecipes brand. The show, titled Homemade, features Martie interviewing such guests as Guy Fieri, Rachael Ray, Ina Garten, Michael Symon, Jessica Seinfeld, Leslie Jordan, Tia Mowry, and Aaron Sanchez. In the wedding industry for much of her career, Martie made multiple appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show for various wedding segments. from 1993-1996. She also worked as an advisor to Academy Award winning production designer Richard Sylbert and set decorator William Kemper Wright on the Tri-Star film My Best Friend's Wedding starring Julia Roberts. She had a (non-credited) role in the film as a wedding shop associate.
