Starting his career working with animation, Kapel Furman has been working as a filmmaker, visual artist, and special effects artist since 1997. He is specialized in the fantastic genre, his credits include more than 85 feature films. Most notably: "Skull: The Mask", "Uptake Fear", "Embodiment of Evil"; "The Return of Red Light Bandit" ; "Yellow Mango"; "Broder"; "Drained". He directed and produced nine short-films with most notable shorts as "06 shots; 60ml";"Rock Rocket: Doidão", "S.W.Metaxu-Seq.01" and "The Hand". In 2015 he developed the visual art and feature film project "Uptake Fear". As a character designer, Kapel is specialized in monsters and dystopian characters, creating monsters such as "Skull- A Mascara de Anhanga (Skull: The Mask)", The Hand, Anton Meiher and others. He is one of the hosts of SyFy's/NBC TV show CineLab, in its 6th season aired in 10 countries.
