Juan Pablo Blanco was born in Mexico in 1983. He studied at the Iberoamericana University (UIA) in Mexico City and holds a Masters degree in Film Narrative from the VCA, Melbourne. He has directed several internationally renowned television projects. "La Jaula", his first feature film, was premiere at the Cineteca Nacional in 2018 with 7 weeks in theaters. "Soy Hombre" is his new short film completed in 2021, just finished its Festival Circuit in 2022.
