Kaja Jean was born into a family of visual artists, and is of Estonian and Scottish descent. She was immediately attracted to the medium of film from a young age, and decided to move to New York City to study acting when she was nineteen years old. Kaja has U.K., Estonian (EU), and Canadian citizenship.
