Sonja Renee' is a native of Philadelphia, PA, and has always loved the creative arts and singing as a child. She started in the theater playing "Lucy" in the classic play , "Charlie Brown" ,which enhanced her love for the arts. Growing up Sonja expanded her creativity to the ballet and played the violin, which led to performing at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. In sports she played basketball, leading her team to the championship, then track and field, which led her to compete in the Philadelphia Penn relays, winning multiple trophies for the 100 yard dash and shot put. Later Sonja attended the "Creative and Performing Arts" High School as a theater major and dance minor. After graduating and off to college, life took a different turn and she became a wife and mother. For the next 30 years Sonja thrived as a Master Cosmetologist, owning multiple salons in different states, while also singing in the church praise and worship team as a second soprano for 14 years. During this time she also became a public speaker, life coach, and author. Today as an influence on social media as well Sonja decided to hone in on her first love. Acting! Since then she has appeared in multiple Shorts, Commercial with Adidas, and TV Show "She the People" with Tyler Perry Studios. Sonja defines it's never too late to follow your heart and pursue your dreams!
