Ken Stamp is a multi-award-winning actor, including Best Actor at both the Cannes World Film Festival and the Oniros New York Film Awards. His growing portfolio includes standout supporting roles in the crime drama Feature, Dragonflies Only Live for 24 Hours, and the TV thrillers Irish Ashes and Meet the Lovegroves. When asked, "Ken, have you ever done any acting before?" he replied, "No." The answer came: "Right, I've got just the part for you." And the rest, as they say... is still being written. Born Kenneth Graham Stamp in Cornwall, England, to Avon saleswoman Hilda and ship-to-shore radio operator Ray, he was raised in North Wales and studied drama in Leicester. For over two decades, he travelled the world-through the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East-working across a range of industries before finally returning to the UK. It was there that he was introduced to "this crazy actor's life." Although he studied drama at college, it wasn't until later in life that Ken fully embraced his calling. Since then, he's earned consistent praise for his dedication and intensity-described by peers as "exceptional" and "mesmerising." Now firmly established, Ken also brings a depth of lived experience and a creative instinct to his roles, often collaborating on scripts to help shape authentic, compelling characters.
