Nala Hamilton
Nala Monét Hamilton is an actress from New Orleans, Louisiana, known for her performances in The Lion King (Young Nala, Broadway), Secrets of Sulphur Springs (Disney Channel), and the independent short Stop. Her regional credits include Matilda and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Tulane Summer Lyric), Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago, and Fading In. She began performing at age seven and trained at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts where she studied musical theatre and built a strong foundation in acting, dance, and vocal performance.
In addition to performing, Nala is a director, choreographer, and arts advocate. She founded BLD Music & Motion, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth through creative expression, and has directed original student works and school productions focused on cultural storytelling. Her work has been recognized with several awards, including the Delta Artie Rising Star Award and multiple Junior Theater Festival All-Star honors. Nala continues to train in acting, voice, and movement while pursuing opportunities in both stage and screen performance.
